Rearcross U-7's hosted Lough Derg FC in this Future Stars Blitz at Rearcross FC Grounds on Saturday, the host Club fielded two teams against two visiting teams from the Ballina / Killaloe Club. Fionn McNamara in goals for Team 1 pulled off some great saves while James Costello was rock solid in defence and sent a long ball to Jack Nolan who took his goal well from long range. A kick out from Fionn McNamara fell lovely to Oisin Reynolds who scored a fine goal.
Meanwhile Josh Cleary started in goals for Team 2 and made some great saves to keep his team in the game. Eoin Dervan was also in the action making a great pass to Daisy Corrigan who struck to the corner of the net. Eoin Dervan connected with a pass from Josh Cleary who scored a fine goal. A long ball from defence broke to the in-running Holly Lenihan who finished with aplomb. Well done to all Players on fine displays throughout.
